TALK TO ME:
-Born and raised? Born in rural Washington State, raised in Silicon Valley -Currently living where? Long Beach CA
-Three of your favorite albums from the glorious 1980’s? Then :1. Prince – Purple Rain, 2. Scorpions - Blackout, 3. Marillion – Misplaced Childhood
Now: Clash – London Calling, Graham Parker – Mona Lisa’s Sister, Replacements – Let it Be
-Rolling Stones or the Beatles? All my life I would have said The Stones, but lately it’s been the Beatles.
-The Clash or The Sex Pistols? Definitely the Clash
-Footloose or Dirty Dancing? Jennifer Grey and Dirty Dancing win.
-Smokey & The Bandit or Cannonball Run? Smokey & The Bandit
-Milkshake or Rootbeer Float? Milkshake
-Daily life would be so much better if… it started at noon.
-What I really miss about being a kid (kid = 5-10 years of age) is… The intense blue that the sky used to be and the way that the world seemed so big and limitless.
-Do you own a pet(s)?2 dogs Name(s)? Rusty and Medeley, plus half a dozen unnamed damsel fish (they’re all blue, so names seemed kind of pointless)
-If you had to take a bath w/ one of the characters from Friends who would it be (Joey, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, or Pheobe)?Since I’m not down with boy-boy bathing (personal choice, no judgement implied) and Monica scares me, and Jennifer Aniston ruined Rachel for me, I guess Phoebe wins (plus she’s a hoot).
-I remember reading George Burns saying everything goes better w/ ketchup. Everything goes better with…Hot sauce (but I can I can think of many exceptions)
-The youth of today…it seems they’ve taken the innocence out of everything! What are your thoughts on bringing back “dry-humping”? I’m all for innocence and nostalgia, but I think dry-humping is one of those things one looks back fondly on, rather than looking excitedly forward to, but I could be wrong.
*First thought that comes to mind when hearing the following:
-Big Lebowski? The Dude -President George W. Bush? Idiot -Pizza? Damianos on Fairfax -Skinny Dipping? Stevens Creek Dam -BBQ? Ribs (scary for a vegetarian, I know)
